Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has taken to social media to celebrate a significant achievement, proudly announcing the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. The actress, known for her acting career and public persona, shared the joyous news with her fans on Instagram, where she posted a heartfelt video capturing the moment she was conferred her degree.
In the Instagram post, Daniels expressed her pride and excitement, revealing how much this achievement meant to her. “Another Achievement unlocked, Bachelor in Psychology bagged 👩🎓. This moment is more than a milestone; it’s a testament to countless hours of hard work, determination, resilience, and God’s love. I am super proud of myself! I often confidently say I am God’s favourite, and it’s no cap,” she wrote. Her words echoed a message of perseverance and self-belief, as she celebrated the culmination of her academic journey.
The actress also took a moment to thank her husband, Ned Nwoko, for his unwavering support throughout her studies, and expressed gratitude towards her mother. “Thank you, my darling hubby, for your unwavering support, your love, and encouragement. To my treasure, Nnem, thank you for always being my backbone. I love you, mummy 🩷,” she added. Daniels’ heartfelt message highlighted the importance of family support in achieving personal goals and overcoming challenges.
As expected, the announcement was met with a flurry of congratulations from her fans and followers, many of whom shared their joy and prayers for her success. However, the news also sparked a wave of skepticism, with some questioning how the actress was able to attend a university in Mexico while juggling her busy career. A number of comments focused on her graduation, suggesting that it may have been impossible for Daniels to attend classes in person due to her professional commitments.
In response, several of Regina’s fans quickly stepped in to defend her, pointing out the modern flexibility of education, including the option of online classes. “For Mumu people way dey under this comment section, you can do some courses online then when it’s time for you to graduate 🧑🎓 you can travel or they will send your certificate. The world is digital, technology nah baba, don’t confuse people’s lives. Do research and always update your thoughts. Mentally, it’s important,” one fan wrote in a humorous but informative comment.
Another fan echoed this sentiment, commenting, “Ignorant people everywhere. There is something called online classes. You don’t need to be there physically. SMH 🙄”. The comments aimed to educate others on the realities of modern education, highlighting how online learning and digital platforms have revolutionized access to degrees and courses globally.
Regina Daniels’ graduation serves as an example of how education can transcend geographical boundaries, and how determination can lead to success despite the challenges life presents. Her achievement is not only a testament to her dedication but also a reminder of the power of technology and online learning in today’s interconnected world.
